Etta B Pottery all began in a 100-year-old farmhouse in the small town of Etta, MS by husband & wife team, Daryl & Brent DeShea. Since 2008, each piece continues to be carefully handmade & meticulously hand-painted. With designs created for each season & serving pieces for all occasions, we hope you enjoy using your Etta B Pottery for every celebration!

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING:

Do you offer rush shipping on orders?
Yes, we can accommodate a rush on an order on a case by case basis. Please email us to inquire at brooklyn@ettabco.com. After our initial conversation, we will set up a custom listing for you. If your order has already been submitted, we will provide an additional emailed invoice to be paid for the upgraded shipping balance.

Can I pickup my order instead of paying for shipping?
Absolutely! Use code “OXFORDPICKUP” or "DESOTOPICKUP" at checkout to waive the shipping charge. This will tell us you would like to pick up from our Oxford Hospital Gift Shop or DeSoto Hospital Gift Shop. Pickup orders may take up to 1 week before they are ready for you as your order will need to be transferred to the store from my studio. Please feel free to contact me before submitting and I can give you the best estimated time your order can be picked up at either store at that time. If you are in a rush to receive your order, it is likely best to place the order to be shipped.

When do orders ship?
Every product on our website is in stock unless it is a custom, special, or preordered item. Orders are shipped in the sequence in which they are received. Please allow up to 7 business days for your order to ship as I am the sole owner and carefully prepare every order for safe delivery. If you have any questions, please reach out to me so I can assist.

My order has been marked 'delivered' but I have not received it yet.

As soon as your order departs from Etta, I will email a tracking number to you with the estimated arrival date. Please watch your tracking number for updates to know when to expect your delivery. If you will be away, please notify a family member or friend to gather your delivery once it arrives. If your order has been delivered but you did not receive it, please check with your driver, or local UPS Headquarters, as well as neighbors or family members for any information. Once your box has been marked as delivered, it is out of my control. Occasionally, orders will be checked as 'delivered' and arrive the following day. Please work with UPS as soon as possible to retrieve any geographical details of the delivery to be sure it was left at the correct address. We are not responsible for stolen packages or lost deliveries and apologize for the inconvenience. 

Can you ship to a P.O. Box?

No, we currently ship via UPS and are unable to ship to USPS P.O. Boxes. If an order is placed to a P.O. Box, we will contact you for an updated shipping address. Please keep in mind, this will delay the shipment of your order until we hear from you.

Help, I placed my order with the wrong delivery address!
Please contact me immediately upon the submission of your order so that I can resolve this for you and change your shipping address. Once your order has been shipped, it is out of my control and I can not update the address for you.

I want to send a gift to a friend.
If you would like us to handwrite a message on our new folded cards, please include a gift message in the note box at checkout. We do not include any packing slips with gift orders. If you are unsure what to buy, we strongly suggest our Digital Gift Card as the perfect option to allow them the gift of choice, as we do not accept returns or exchanges.

I received a gift, but I want to exchange it.
At this time, I am unable to offer exchanges due to the fragility and risk of returning our handmade pottery.

Caring For Your Pottery

Food Safe
Yes, our pottery is food safe. Please be cautious when using citrus fruits as the acid can cause discoloration over time.

Microwave Safe
Yes, our pottery is microwave safe with care.

Hand-Washing

While our pottery is dishwasher friendly, we recommend hand-washing for the best care of our handmade product.

Baking
Our pottery fires at a high temperature in the kilns and is durable to bake with in the oven. For safe baking, please warm your cold pottery with the oven.

Can I place a special order with you?
Yes! If you are looking for an item from previous seasons or interested in personalizing a piece with your name or wedding date, please reach out to me so that we can discuss the possibility. While I cannot guarantee an older design, I will certainly be happy to check for you.

The color I want is not available on your website.
Please let me know which color and item you are shopping for so I can help.

What is the difference between Townhouse and Farmhouse?
The Townhouse is not handmade which allows for a perfectly uniform, matching set.
The Farmhouse is completely handmade with an organic shape and feel. The pieces are similar but do not sit perfectly together.

Is every piece truly hand-painted?
Yes! With paint brushes, we meticulously hand-paint every piece. You are truly buying a piece of art with every pottery dish and will always have an original due to the hand-painted detail.

What is the turnaround time for a special order?
Typically a special order placed with Etta B & Co. will be ready within 3-5 weeks. Busy seasons surrounding our Seasonal Lines (Spring, Easter, Fall, Christmas) may interfere with this timeline. Please reach out to me with the pieces you are wanting to order, along with the quantities, so that I can give you the best estimate at this time.

I would like to order personalized pieces as gifts. Can I work with you?
Of course you can! I would love to help you with this. Most of the custom pieces we offer include wedding cars, wedding trays, platters with your last name (can include your wedding date) and more. If these gifts are time sensitive, please let me know so that I can help you in a timely manner.
